Foreword

This instruction manual aims to provide all specific information necessary for you to familiarise yourself with

and correctly use your MARPOSS equipment.

THE PURCHASER MUST ENSURE THAT PERSONNEL IN CHARGE OF EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION,

USE AND MAINTENANCE ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE CONTENT OF THIS MANUAL.

The description given in this manual is for the following categories of persons:

• MARPOSS or Customer’s Personnel who are responsible for the direct installation of the equipment.

• Customer’s technical Personnel who must operate directly with MARPOSS equipment.

• Customer’s technical Personnel responsible for maintaining the production line in which the

MARPOSS equipment is installed.

This manual is an integral part of the equipment so the user must keep it in good condition and available for

the whole life of the equipment.

The responsibility of the machine tool manufacturer is limited to the correct use of the equipment, within the

limits indicated in this manual and its appendices.

The manufacturer shall give this manual and its appendices to the end customer.

The Customer must:

• Correctly secure and locate the equipment on its own machine

• Make the electrical connections

• Set up the stylus position.
